Cyclone warning for Mauritius
The Foreign Office is warning holidaymakers that Mauritius could be struck by a cyclone later today.
Tropical cyclone Edilson, which formed north of Mauritius yesterday, is travelling south and threatening to hit several land areas.
A Class I Cyclone Warning is now in effect for Rodrigues Island and a Class II Cyclone Warning is in effect for Mauritius.
All offices and schools are closed and public transport is not operational.
