Danang gets a new Life
DANANG, – Life Resorts has signed an agreement with Hoang Tra Travel and Trading Co for the co-development of a 182-room property on Danang’s China Beach.
Life Resort Danang plans to open its four-hectare resort in the third quarter 2009. Located three kilometers from downtown Danang and 30 kms from Hoi An, the beachfront property will emerge as the largest of Life’s growing suite of owned and managed properties in Vietnam.
“After several years’ operation in nearby Hoi An, we’ve realised that we’ve only scratched the surface of travellers’ interest in central Vietnam,†said Chris Duffy, general director of the Life Resorts.â€
The resort’s initial design calls for several food & beverage outlets, including a 250-seat flagship venue, a spa and health club, casino and a business centre than can accommodate 500 for banquets and 750 in theatre-style seating.
A pair of four-storey hotel blocks house most of the resort’s rooms, including 10 executive suites and a presidential suite. Fifteen stand-alone villas flank one side of a long pool corridor splicing the middle of the resort.
Beyond Danang, Life Resorts owns and operates the 94-room Life Heritage Resort Hoi An, which reopened in August after a major six-month renovation.
The company also owns and operates the Life Wellness Resort Quy Nhon and is developing a suite of new resorts at Ninh Binh, Sapa and Halong Bay.
