David Beckham to promote southeast Asia resorts
Football legend David Beckham is to promote Las Vegas Sands resorts in Macau and Singapore.
His business, Beckham Ventures, will create new dining, retail and leisure concepts at the southeast Asia resorts.
LVSC said it had brought the former international and LA Galaxy footballer in to boost the brand.
Earlier this year Beckham became a global ambassador for Chinese football and the China Football Association invited him to promote the game among its youth.
LVSC president and chief operating officer Michael Leven told Bloomberg: "We are very excited about the partnership and we fully expect it to grow in the years to come, especially as we aggressively explore opportunities to further expand our presence in Asia."
Beckham added: "The Sands team has created amazing resorts in Singapore and Macau.
"I am very excited to be working with them to develop a range of new business ideas in a part of the world that I love spending time in and is full of optimism and growth."
Beckham, who is reportedly worth $47m, set up Beckham Ventures after retiring from international football this year.
