”A Day’s Outing” is a new free online search tool for finding the best day trips and weekend getaways. The site says it is the is the first online search tool aimed at women to help them quickly find outings for themselves or their families

“A Day’s Outing brings together thousands of quality outings in one place and simplifies the search process for local events and destinations in the communities that surround you,” the site says.

At A Day’s Outing, users answer four simple questions and then receive a highly personalized list of possible outings to consider based on their location.

The site incorporates Google Maps to help users decide which outing to choose by presenting a visual map so they can see and gauge the driving distance and location of each possible outing.

The site offers nature trails, museums, historic sites, antique shops and weekend events for families to consider.
