Debris ‘almost certainly’ from missing MH370
Debris found on beaches in Mauritius and South Africa almost certainly came from the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, according to officials.
They were the latest pieces of debris found since the Kuala Lumpur to Beijing flight disappeared in March 2014 with 239 people on board.
A Rolls-Royce engine cowling was found in Mossel Bay, South Africa, and a fragment of interior door panel was found in Rodrigues Island, Mauritius, in March.
Malaysia’s Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai said the investigation team had confirmed that both are almost certainly from MH370.
