Delta Queen announces new schedule
Delta Queen Steamboat Company announced that American Queen’s return to scheduled cruise service will be postponed till next year.
The New Orleans-based company cited post hurricane conditions as the reason for its decision.
Passengers will have the option of traveling on either Delta Queen or the Mississippi Queen instead of American Queen, said Bruce Nierenberg, president of the Delta Queen Steamboat Company.
With minor schedule changes, the Delta Queen and Mississippi Queen will continue to be operational.
