Delta to pay half a billion in employee profit sharing
Delta reported a full year airline profit and will pay over $500 million in employee profit sharing.
It is the first profit sharing since 2019.
It posted full year revenue of $45.6 billion, which is 2% lower than 2019.
It had pre-tax income of $2.7 billion.
Delta now has operating cash flow of $6.2 billion.
“Delta people rose to the challenges of 2022. I’m looking forward to recognizing their achievements with $500 million in employee profit sharing,” said CEO Ed Bastian.
“We expect to grow 2023 revenue by 15-20%.”
