Delta will pay flight attendants during boarding
Delta Air Lines is shaking up how flight attendants are paid by airlines. Carriers usually start paying crew once the plane’s doors close and it pulls away from the gate.
Delta Air Lines’ flight attendants will now be paid starting at boarding from June 2 on all flights. However, the rate of pay during boarding will be 50% of regular wages.
The change comes as the airline faces another attempt unionize its flight attendant workforce.
