Destinology UCLAN partner to boost tourism job recruitment
Luxury tailor-made operator Destinology and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) are joining forces to boost tourism job recruitment.
Destinology is the chosen partner for UCLAN’s BA (Hons) International Tourism Management programme.
It offers a curriculum focusing on tourism.
Ryan Johnston, MD of Destinology, said: “We have worked with UCLAN for many years and are proud to be the chosen partner.”
The course features contemporary modules that can be studied over three or four years (with internship).
Students have the opportunity to apply it through involvement with Destinology.
Students will be taken through the tour operator’s luxury holiday collection and encouraged to help develop new products.
The tour operator will also provide a ‘Day in the Life’ experiences for year-one students and open its door to all students for a tourism job.
Destinology will also provide students with internship opportunities.
“We are delighted to play our part, together with UCLAN, in bringing new high quality professionals,” Johnston added.
