Diamond Rail rebrands and cuts number of tours

Sunday, 18 May, 2017 0

Diamond Rail Holidays has been rebranded as Arena Rail Holidays by its new parent Arena Travel, which also bought River Cruise Line earlier this year.

At the same time, the number of itineraries available from the escorted tours specialist has been reduced.

Arena Travel MD Steve Goodenough said it was ‘natural’ for the rail operation to be brought under the Arena banner.

"This is an exciting period of transition and our focus currently is on consolidating and delivering the programme of rail holidays for 2017, with an emphasis on the quality of the product and customer experience," he said.

"To that end we have reduced the number of itineraries available for 2017, and will be announcing our plans for next year in the coming months."

Arena Rail Holidays will be launching online soon, he said, to coincide with the release of the 2018 brochure.
