Direct Travel acquires VIP agency McCord Travel Management
Direct Travel, Inc has announced an agreement to acquire Ottawa-based McCord Travel Management.
Post-acquisition it will operate as McCord Travel, A Direct Travel Company.
McCord Travel founder Scott McCord joins the Direct Travel senior management team as Director of Customer Experience while he will continue managing McCord Travel operations.
"Our team at McCord Travel is excited to combine our focus on highly personalized service with the expanded range of global services that Direct Travel will provide our clients," McCord said.
It is Direct Travel’s first acquisition since the start of the pandemic.
Direct Travel has offices in 75 locations across North America and the UK.
It has provided travel management services for over 40 years and is a member of the Virtuoso network.
McCord Travel offers a broad range of travel management services and is known for its VIP customer base.
It accepts new clients by invitation only.
