The House by Elegant Hotels, it’s chic adults-only boutique hotel, on the island’s West Coast has undergone extensive renovations to modernize its current ocean-inspired design. The award winning 34-room property enhanced its public spaces, all while maintaining its signature home-away-from-home feel.
Known for its luxurious accommodations, The House boasts a relaxed beach house feel with highly attentive service ambassadors ranging from champagne breakfasts to poolside jetlag revival massages. Beyond the courtyard, the open-air oceanfront living room lounge area received a complete redesign with a new layout, furnishings, artwork and lighting. The space offers chic colour palettes of sophisticated white fabrics complimented by ocean-inspired accents, including pale walnut and teak wood tones.
The current dining area received an overhaul with new furnishings and a sophisticated buffet area that disappears behind decorative ‘Shoji’ screens that slide to maintain the breezy, living room atmosphere. Additionally, the newly designed space includes modern furnishings, wood floors, enhanced light fixtures, and complimentary colour accents.
The complimentary 30-minute jetlag massage, offered as a way for guests to unwind after their travels, is one of The House’s signature amenities. In the spirit of encouraging guests to disconnect and indulge, the existing gym and library was converted into a spa, complete with two private treatment rooms, including a couple’s massage room, where guests can rejuvenate with a selection of massages, facials and beauty services, including manicures and pedicures.
Lastly, the existing pool area was refurbished with new decking, creating an ideal spot for couples and guests to gather beneath the stars with a Daphne’s dessert or Mount Gay nightcap.
