Disney adding more Danube river sailings

Wednesday, 14 May, 2015 0

Although still more than a year before it begins its first ever river cruises, Disney is adding more sailings due to high demand.

Disney recently announced it will run five Danube cruises in collaboration with river cruise line AmaWaterways in July and December of 2016.

Now it plans to add two more sailings on August 4 and December 15, 2016, according to a USA Today report.

All sailings will travel the Danube between Budapest, Hungary and Vilshofen, Germany on an AmaWaterways custom designed vessel for the family market.

The vessel will have some cabins that can accommodate up to five people and on-board amenities and shore excursions aimed specifically at families.

The river cruises are being sold through its tour operating unit Adventures by Disney.
