Disney Cruise adds new appeal
Disney Cruise Line says it has completed significant renovations that broaden the Disney Wonder’s appeal for both adults and children.
Said Disney Cruise Line President Tom McAlpin:
“When we asked guests for their feedback, we found that they had great suggestions about how we could further enhance our already-popular, age-specific area, and we took those ideas to heart.”
One addition is “Aloft,” a new space that Disney says is a cross between a college dormitory and a trendy coffee shop that is expected to be popular for teenagers. Video games are a big draw.
“Cove Café” is a new area for adults where they can relax with gourmet coffees while watching television.
“Dimensions” is a new nighttime entertainment venue themed as a sports bar.
The cruise line’s sister ship, the Disney Magic, had similar renovations a year ago.
