Disney Cruise Line temporarily moving terminals at Port Canaveral
Disney Cruise Line is relocating at Port Canaveral for a temporary period during the summer of 2020.
The cruise line’s current home at Cruise Terminal 8 will close from June to October of next year for refurbishment.
It won’t affect its sailing schedule as ship passengers will embark and disembark from an adjacent pier at Cruise Terminal 10.
Planned work includes terminal and berth improvements, and a new passenger boarding bridge.
In addition there will be a new luggage screening building, an enhanced seating area and check-in counters.
The Port Canaveral board of commission meets later this week to ratify the changes.
