Disney Cruise Line updates vaccine, testing rules
Disney Cruise Line is the latest line to update onboard health protocols.
Beginning September 2, 2022, all guests over 12 must be vaccinated.
Currently the line requires children age five and older to be jabbed.
It is applicable for voyages departing North American ports.
Although no longer mandatory, Disney still recommends five to 11 year olds are vaccinated to sail.
Fully vaccinated guests can avoid testing at the cruise terminal by uploading negative test results into the Inspire Diagnostics Safe Passage website the day before sailing.
Children not fully vaccinated must supply a negative test taken up to three days before departure date followed by a second test at the cruise terminal.
Other cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Corp brands have recently announced the scrapping of vaccine requirements for some cruises.
