Disneyland Resort Paris to stream content to partner websites
An online sales tool created by Disneyland Resort Paris is designed to help agents and operators provide up-to-the-minute information and to drive more web-generated bookings.
The Disney Content Connection imports information about the resort onto operator and agency websites, allowing them to segment and customise the content.
They can choose from a selection of web pages and customise the information the are most interested in featuring online. The content can then be linked to the operator or agents’ website and accessed at a click of a button.
Updates on the latest developments at the park, current offers and changing seasonal activities are streamed automatically to partner sites.
Multimedia viewing capabilities are to be added, including 360-degree views, virtual tours, flash movies and resort and theme park maps.
The resort’s UK vice-president peter Welch said: “With the growth of online research and booking it is increasingly important for our agents and operators to host an informative website to drive more business to their own booking engines.
“The Disney Content Connection pushes the very latest information directly to our partners’ websites so they never have to worry about updating our content independently.”
