Disruption at London City
London City Airport is warning passengers of ongoing disruption at the airport this morning due to poor visibility.
Flights were also disrupted before sunrise due to a lighting issue on the runway, it said.
A spokeswoman said the problem with the lighting affected flights for the first 90-minutes after opening.
"It was secondary to the fact we had low cloud which had an impact on visibility and therefore caused disruption to arriving flights," she said.
"The poor weather was forecast to last for several hours, however conditions have improved so while there is still some disruption as a knock-on effect of the earlier delays, things are getting back to normal."
Nevertheless, passengers are being advised to check with their airlines to check the latest timings for the flights.
