Docklands airport gains Danish link

British Airways franchise partner Sun-Air of Scandinavia has started flights between London City Airport and Billund in Denmark,

 

The service is being operated by a Dornier 328 aircraft in BA livery.

 

Two flights a day are scheduled for weekdays, with one on Sundays to the home of Lego.

 

Sun-Air CEO Niels Sundberg said: “We have been particularly interested in London City Airport for several years and look forward to operating straight to the heart of London.”

 

BA operates to 10 destinations in the UK and Europe from London City and start the first transatlantic service from the Docklands airport with daily flights to New York.
