Docklands airport gains Danish link

British Airways franchise partner Sun-Air of Scandinavia has started flights between London City Airport and Billund in Denmark,
Â
The service is being operated by a Dornier 328 aircraft in BA livery.
Â
Two flights a day are scheduled for weekdays, with one on Sundays to the home of Lego.
Â
Sun-Air CEO Niels Sundberg said: “We have been particularly interested in London City Airport for several years and look forward to operating straight to the heart of London.â€
Â
BA operates to 10 destinations in the UK and Europe from London City and start the first transatlantic service from the Docklands airport with daily flights to New York.
