Dolce Hotels launches discovery initiative
Dolce Hotels and Resorts has launched an initiative designed to encourage guests to explore their hotel’s surroundings.
The Trails of Discovery programme is currently available at five European hotels and is set to be rolled out to others in the group.
Taking between four to five hours to complete, each trail has been put together with the help of local influencers and features a different theme.
The trails take groups of all sizes through a series of activities involving clues, on-site challenges and fun adventures.
They are available for all guests but are particularly targeted at meetings and events delegates.
At the Dolce Fregate Provence a treasure-hunt style adventure has been created by local travel blogger Chiffons & Co, while at the Dolce La Hulpe Brussels a local travel expert and lifestyle Instagrammer Gaelle VP has crafted a nature, health and wellbeing experience through the Sonian Forest, recently listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
At the Dolce Campo Real in Portugal guests try a few of of the hotel’s on-site activities before venturing out to explore the surrounding countryside, learning about the local history.
"Dolce is a brand designed to inspire discovery. From exceptional events to motivating resort destinations, each hotel is set in breath-taking surroundings which turn guests’ experiences into something memorable," aid Patrick Divall, regional vice president for Western Europe, Wyndham Hotel Group.
"With Trails of Discovery we want to help our guests explore the breadth of our stunning locations.
"Each hotel has something unique to offer, something that goes beyond the expected, and that’s why we’ve partnered with a team of influencers to provide our guests with insider tips from real locals."
