Doors Open On New Era In Surf Holidays

The doors have opened on a new era in sophisticated, surf-side holidays with today’s official launch of Peppers Salt Resort & Spa at Kingscliff in Northern New South Wales.

Set in the heart of the emerging tourism hot spot of the new Tweed Coast, the luxurious Peppers Salt Resort & Spa offers an exciting new look at the traditional beach holiday experience.

Holidaymakers have been hurrying to dip their toes in the water and be among the first to experience this remarkable resort, with bookings already very strong for the 343 room property.

Peppers is celebrating the grand opening of the luxury property with special rates from $90* per person, per night twin share, based on accommodation in a hotel room.

Featuring all the luxuries you would expect of one of Australia’s leading resorts, Peppers Salt Resort & Spa enjoys absolute beach frontage and offers supreme elegance intermingled with seaside-village charm.

Peppers Salt Resort & Spa features beautifully decorated, self-contained suites, from one to three bedrooms, most of which boast spectacular lagoon, pool or ocean views.

Water is central to the whole Peppers Salt Resort & Spa experience. On one side of the resort lies Kingscliff’s stunning ocean beach, on the other the tranquil Cudgen Creek – a safe swimming and canoeing haven. The resort also has a network of pools and waterways, including a massive tropical beach lagoon, which can be viewed from the resort reception and lobby.

Facilities also include a boutique restaurant and bar, two swimming pools, a surf life saving facility, kids club, a gym and premium conference facilities for meetings of up to 340 delegates.

In the near future, Peppers Salt Resort will also be home to an exclusive Golden Door health spa offering their extensive range of treatments, therapies and lifestyle programs for relaxation, rejuvenation and wellbeing.

The property offers 28 secluded plunge pools available to guests on select accommodation options.

Families will enjoy the peace of mind knowing the surf beach on the resort’s door step is patrolled 356 days a year and parents can kick back while the young ones are entertained at the fully supervised kids club offering great activities three sessions a day during busy periods.

As part of the 73 hectare, master-planned Salt community, Peppers also offers guests 6.6km of bicycle and walking paths through natural parkland, a health centre, shops, bars, cafes, fabulous dining and more.

Peppers Group General Manager Kent Davidson said it was highly rewarding to see the project which started as a dream come to fruition, and be ready to be embraced by the holidaying public.

“This property is without doubt the most exciting holiday destination fronting the Pacific Ocean to come on the scene in many years,’’ Mr Davidson said.

“Not only will it provide lasting holiday memories but also enormous benefits for surrounding communities in the form of employment growth, spending on services and entertainment outside of the property and the prospect of repeat visits once guests are exposed to the natural beauty of the region,” he said.

One of New South Wales’ most northerly beachside villages boasting two kilometres of unspoiled sand and surf; Kingscliff is enjoying a gentle groundswell of interest from the holidaying public.

A smartly landscaped Esplanade now offers a range of award winning restaurants and cafes serving international cuisine and great coffee in an environment that still oozes old-school character and charm.

Peppers Salt Resort & Spa is conveniently located just 15 minutes drive from Gold Coast Airport, 30 minutes from Byron Bay and 90 minutes from Brisbane.
