Dover-Calais ferry services begin to resume
Cross-Channel ferry operators have partially resumed services following three days of disruption.
French MyFerryLink workers had blocked Calais in protest against the sale of the former SeaFrance operation to DFDS.
P&O Ferries is running a sailing every two hours today (Thursday) from Dover in a bid to clear a backlog of traffic on both sides of the channel.
But DFDS Seaways Dover-Calais services remained suspended due to the industrial action at the French port.
DFDS Dover-Dunkirk services are operating normally with ‘limited space available’. It urged passengers to allow extra time to check-in.
Eurostar and Le Shuttle have also resumed services.
