Dozens of ship guests rescued after excursion boat capsizes
Dozens of cruise ship passengers had to be rescued from the sea after their excursion boat capsized in rough weather.
The 36 German 2 Austrian ship guests were sailing on the AIDAbella which was docked in Cartagena, Colombia.
It sails under the Germany based Carnival owned AIDA Cruises.
Their small excursion boat flipped over after being battered by strong winds and high waves near the Barú Peninsula, the Colombian Coast Guard said.
Despite capsizing, all passengers were rescued with no serious injuries.
All were checked out by medical staff in Cartagena and given a clean bill of health.
