Dragoman buys group adventure specialist
Dragoman Overseas Travel has acquired Imaginative Traveller.
From 1 October, the small group adventure specialist Imaginative Traveller will be integrated within the Dragoman portfolio.
The two products will operate under the Dragoman umbrella but will retain their individual websites and identity.
Dragoman MD Charlie Hopkinson said: “Whilst our truck-based Overland Tours are well-established, the integration of the Imaginative Traveller brand within the Dragoman family will allow us to develop our small group adventure holiday offering further.
"We know from customer feedback that there is a growing demand for both types of travel and are therefore delighted that we will now be able to provide an increased variety of exceptional tours catering for all holiday styles.
“We are keen to retain the brand values, destinational expertise and emphasis on affordable adventures that has kept Imaginative Traveller customers loyal for the past 20 years and are confident that the product will complement our existing adventure holidays well.”
Dragoman said the purchase will also boost its private travel offering, introduced in June 2011.
