SYDNEY – Applications have opened for the Australian business events industry to participate in Dreamtime 2009, Tourism Australia’s premier event for promoting Australia’s incentive experiences to the international market.

Taking the theme of “The story of Australian incentives”, Dreamtime 2009 will be held from October 12-16.

Tourism Australia’s head of business events, Joyce DiMascio, said Dreamtime would target about 100 international incentive agents and 20 international media from Australia’s key markets of Asia, Europe, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA and New Zealand.

“Dreamtime 2009 provides a rare and cost effective opportunity for the Australian business events industry to tell their own incentive stories to qualified international buyers,” said DiMascio.

This year’s programme will start with a two day educational visit to either Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Sunshine Coast/Brisbane or the Red Centre, followed by a three day business forum in host city, Sydney.
