Drone forces flight suspension at Dublin Airport
Flights were suspended at Dublin Airport earlier today after a pilot spotted a drone close to the airfield.
Once there was no further sighting for 30 minutes, flights resumed.
Two flights were diverted during the runway closure, one to Belfast and one to Shannon.
It was the first sighting of a drone at Dublin Airport and happened shortly before midday. Although activity was only suspended for 30 minutes, the runway closure caused delays to many afternoon departures
