Drunk passengers force BA flight to divert
A British Airways flight from London to Tunisia was forced to divert to Lyon after two female passengers tried to force their way into the cockpit.
The middle-aged pair, who had allegedly been drinking Malibu from a bottle during BA flight 2664 from Gatwick to Tunis, were handed over to French police at Lyon.
They spent the night in custody before being flown back to London on New Year’s Day, according to a report in the Guardian.
British Airways said UK police were looking into the incident.
