Set along 800-metres of private beach, JA The Resort has over 1 million square metres of activities and an extensive array of leisure facilities. Promising to thrill all generations, the vast resort will open the brand-new JA Lake View Hotel in September 2019, while simultaneously re-opening the refurbished 243 key JA Beach Hotel with a host of new attractions.
An intrinsic landmark in the history of Dubai’s rapid development, the JA Beach Hotel, once known as the Jebel Ali Beach Hotel, was one of the first hotels built in the city. In the late 1970’s, His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum had an ambitious vision for the UAE and wished to develop the Jebel Ali Area and Free Zone, which the Dutco Group of Companies immediately supported by building Jebel Ali Beach Hotel, opening soon after in 1981.
The Dubai stalwart and multi award-winning family property will showcase major improvements and beautification including an enhanced facade with all-glass balconies for the rooms and suites. The bedrooms will also be given a new look with modern wood tile flooring, new beds and furniture in a fresh colour scheme of soft greys, neutrals and relaxing royal blue. JA Beach Hotel will launch a stunning new Italian restaurant, Sette, with 360 dome views of the resort, as well as Phoenicia restaurant – a collaboration with the master of modern middle eastern cuisine – Greg Malouf. Perhaps most exciting for families is the CoolZone Kid’s Club which will be relocated and doubled in size, offering a huge 450- metre squared area, divided into different zones for children aged 4-12 years. Adjacent to the new kids’ club facility, there will also be a new wet recreation area with an interactive Splash Pad, providing children hours of fun.
Located just 10 minutes away from Dubai Parks & Resorts, 20 minutes from Dubai’s buzzing JBR and 30 minutes from the iconic Dubai Mall, the new JA Lake View Hotel joins the award-winning JA Beach Hotel and the all-suite JA Palm Tree Court to become Dubai’s Largest Experience Resort. In total the resort has seven landscaped swimming pools with four swim up bars, a choice of 25 restaurants and bars, a 9-hole, par 35 championship standard golf course with floodlit driving range, putting and pitching greens and Leadbetter Golf Academy Dubai, 4 floodlit tennis courts and a tennis academy, squash courts, badminton courts, beach volleyball facilities, horse riding stables, 9-hole mini-golf course, a Watercooled Watersports Centre with water-skiing, windsurfing, jet-skiing, banana boats, catamarans, laser sailboats and a private 104-berth full service marina offering fishing trips, boat trips and sea plane flights. It also boasts 6 shooting ranges, Calm Spa, a bio-garden, a crèche, CoolZone Kids’ Club and Babysitting service.
