Dusit International bringing dusitD2 brand to Bangkok
Thai hotel group Dusit International has signed its first dusitD2 branded hotel for central Bangkok.
It inked a hotel management agreement with Tian Teck Property for the dusitD2 Samyan Bangkok, which will open in mid-2023.
The 23-floor property will have 181 rooms and include a lobby lounge, swimming pool, a fitness centre, meeting space and all-day dining.
"We are delighted that Tian Teck has selected us to manage this special property and bring our upscale dusitD2 brand to the heart of Bangkok for the first time," said Lim Boon Kwee, chief operating officer, Dusit International.
The company also operates the Dusit Suites and Dusit Princess brands in central Bangkok and is re-opening the landmark Dusit Thani Bangkok hotel.
The Dusit International portfolio now consists of 271 properties under six brands in 13 countries.
