Dusit International pivots toward China with Dossen deal
Thai hospitality company Dusit International has inked a deal to bring its DusitPrincess brand to the China market.
It plans agressive growth in China after signing a strategic alliance with Dossen International Group, which will develop and operate DusitPrincess resorts and residences in China.
The companies have targeted agreements for at least 40 DusitPrincess hotels in China over the next five years.
"This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in our mission to increase the scale and reach of our brands and operations in China," said Suphajee Suthumpun, group CEO of Dusit International.
"Dossen International Group’s local knowledge and expertise, combined with our own experience will provide a truly compelling proposition for owners. We are confident this will expedite the expansion of the DusitPrincess brand within China."
Dossen operates over 1,200 hotels under eight brands in more than 200 cities and is one of the fastest growing hospitality firms in China.
