Dusit teams up with UnionPay

Hospitality group Dusit International is looking to lure more of the Chinese market after inking a partnership deal with payment processor UnionPay.
 
The partnership gives UnionPay’s18 million Premium cardholders extra perks at 23 participating Dusit Hotels and Resorts when rooms are booked with their UnionPay credit card.
 
UnionPay users receive welcome fruit and tea sets in room upon arrival and late checkout options until 2.00pm.
 
Cardholders who enrol  in Dusit’s own loyalty programme receive an immediate bonus of complimentary room upgrade to the next available category or daily breakfast for two.
 
Dusit Gold member benefits also include food, beverage and spa discounts.
 
 "We see our partnership with UnionPay International as another way we can exceed our guests’ expectations," said Ms Erena Chan, vice president of sales and marketing at Dusit. 
 
"This partnership is an excellent opportunity to extend targeted, ‘value-add’ benefits to our Chinese guests to enhance their stays at Dusit Hotels and Resorts worldwide."
