Earthquakes strike Caribbean and Indonesia
Trindad and Tobago and Indonesia have been hit by strong earthquakes in the past few hours.
No serious injuries have been reported on the Caribbean islands, but in Indonesia at least 52 people were killed.
A 6.2 quake struck Trinidad and Tobago at around 5.40pm on Tuesday afternoon, with the epicenter 99 kms northeast of Port of Spain. People reported feeling the earthquake nationwide.
In Indonesia, a quake hit Aceh province on Wednesday morning, killing at least 52 people including young children and injuring at least 73.
The shallow 6.5-magnitude quake damaged many homes, shops and mosques in the district of Pidie Jaya, hundreds of which had been completely destroyed.
