Eastern Airways to re-establish Yorkshire-Cornwall flights
Eastern Airways is to operate summer flights between Leeds Bradford Airport and Newquay in Cornwall.
The new service will launch on July 9 with the one-hour flights operating every weekday.
The route was previously operated by Flybe, which is now defunct.
Eastern confirmed last week that it will resume flying across the UK on June 29, with frequency of its services increasing throughout July, August and September.
General manager commercial & operations Roger Hage said: "As a UK regional airline, our business is to connect the various business and tourism sectors which are vital to the economic recovery of the UK.
"We’re extremely pleased to serve Newquay re-establishing a link from Leeds Bradford at a time when UK travel begins to return for the summer peak. Our service will save valuable travel time connecting the Cornish coast with Yorkshire."
