Eastern expands domestic services
UK regional airline Eastern Airways is expanding its schedules by offering extra flights on its Norwich-Edinburgh and Southampton-Leeds routes.
The airline has taken delivery of two 50-seat Saab 2000 aircraft, one of which will be based at Norwich to allow for further services from East Anglia.
From January 10, Eastern will add a fourth weekday return flight to the Norwich-Edinburgh route and a fourth service on the Leeds-Southampton route.
Eastern Airways currently operates from 17 UK airports and a spokesman said its strategy was to offer high frequency, direct and time efficient travel between the UK regions.
