EasyJet announces date of AGM

Wednesday, 08 Jan, 2019 0

EasyJet has announced that it will hold its annual general meeting on February 7 at its Luton headquarters.

In addition to asking shareholders to approve the airline’s accounts for 2018, easyJet will also be seeking the election and re-election of the majority of its directors.

In accordance with the UK Corporate Governance Code, which requires directors of all companies forming part of the FTSE 350 to be subject to annual re-election by shareholders, all of the Board is standing with the exception of Adele Anderson, who is stepping down as non-executive director after seven years with the airline.

Three additional directors have been appointed to the Board since the last AGM and so will be standing for election for the first time. They are Julie Southern, Dr Anastassia Lauterbach and Nick Leeder.
