Friday, 23 Jan, 2026 1

Leisure airline easyJet just announced new routes to Lisbon and Rome Fiumicino from new base Newcastle, as well as to Bari from Manchester.

The new routes launch this summer, with Newcastle to Rome flights taking flight on 30 March 2026 in time for the Easter holidays, and flights to Lisbon start from 22 June 2026.

Both of these routes operate on Mondays and Fridays, making them ideal for a long weekend city break.

Additionally, the airline unveiled a new route from Manchester to Bari, Italy, with flights taking off from 3 July 2026.

These also operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

Tour operator arm easyJet holidays will offer package holidays to all three destinations, inclusive of flights and hotel and include transfers for Bari beach breaks.

“We’re excited to be launching new routes and packages from Manchester and Newcastle to three of Europe’s popular destinations. In our 30th year, we are set to operate our biggest ever flying programme this summer,” said Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager

EasyJet’s new routes and packages are now on sale and available to book at easyJet.com or the mobile app.
