EasyJet announces two additional routes from Gatwick
EasyJet will launch two new routes to Brussels and Strasbourg from London Gatwick next year.
The new flights, starting on March 30, will operate twice daily to and from Brussels and four times a week to and from Strasbourg departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The airline said the launch of these two routes, together with previously announced new flights to Jersey, Paris and Newcastle, mean it will fly around 1.3 million more passengers from Gatwick every year, 300,000 of whom will be corporate flyers.
As a result, it is hiring an additional 200 pilots and cabin crew at the London base.
It is launching the new services using the recently acquired slots from Flybe.
