EasyJet director sells shares for over a million pounds
EasyJet group commercial director director Peter Duffy has sold more than 100,000 shares he was given in the airline, making him around £1.69 million.
Duffy was given ordinary shares in the airline as part of easyJet’s Long Term Incentive Plan when he joined in 2011, when they were worth £3.37 each.
The airline today informed the Stock Market that Duffy had sold 105,898 of his shares at £15.99 each.
He has retained 10,629 shares.
Duffy is part of the management team that repositioned the easyJet brand to attract more business travellers and families looking for affordable travel without the scrum traditionally associated with low-cost carriers.
