EasyJet gears up for busiest ever summer
With the arrival of school summer holidays across the UK, easyJet is gearing up for its busiest summer ever.
It has scheduled over 80,000 flights across Europe and North Africa during the school holidays.
It expects to carry more passengers across its entire summer network than ever before.
The airline says 28 July will be the busiest day with nearly 2,000 flights.
Beach destinations of Palma, Faro and Malaga in Spain plus Barcelona and Nice are among the favourite hot spots.
EasyJet holidays will have its busiest summer season ever.
Domestically, Edinburgh and Belfast are the most popular destinations this summer.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: “The summer is always our busiest time of year and this year is no exception.”
It says thousands of free child places are still available alongside school holiday deals.
EasyJet serves 21 UK airports, offering 584 routes to 136 destinations from the UK.
