EasyJet gives budget travellers access to private terminal
EasyJet passengers can now pay for use of a luxury private jet terminal at London Luton airport, which is popular with celebrities like Brad Pitt and Taylor Swift.
The low-cost airline has teamed up with Signature Flight Support to offer passengers use of its new terminal, leaving their cars parked right outside the front door. Customs, immigration and security screening is all performed at the Signature terminal and customers can access all of the amenities and refreshments while waiting for their flights, after which they’ll be driven to the aircraft by car.
EasyJet head of ancillary revenue Andrew Middleton said: "While easyJet will always be famous for our low fares and fantastic on board service, for some passengers this a chance to combine those things with a VIP experience for their loved ones and we think it will be particularly popular for those celebrating a milestone birthday, anniversary or other special occasion or for those travelling on business."
The service costs £475 for one passenger and £120 for any additional travellers in the group.
