A new route to Larnaca in Cyprus is set also set take off for the first time this Saturday.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the sixth aircraft and launching more new routes for our biggest ever summer in Scotland.”
EasyJet operated it’s very first flight from Glasgow to London Luton over 27 years ago.
Since then the airline has flown over 42 million passengers from the airport.
Mark Beveridge, MD at Glasgow Airport said: “It has been nearly 30 years since easyJet’s first-ever flight and in the ensuing years the relationship has gone from strength to strength.”
