easyjet losing three execs
Three eayJet executives are leaving the management board, and replacements are being sought.
Business development director, Mike Cooper is leaving to pursue a career elsewhere, and operations director, Vilhelm Hahn-Petersen, is returning to Denmark. Human resources director, Graham Abbey is leaving to set up his own consultancy business. All three will leave over the next six months.
The airline is playing down the news, citing the changing nature of the company since its integration with Go, as the reason behind the directors departures.
EasyJet chief executive, Ray Webster said: “With the Go/easyJet integration almost complete and a ‘new’ easyJet taking shape, it is only natural that all parties take stock of what the long-term future holds…. some individuals will consider their personal circumstances and see the completion of the Go integration as the catalyst to consider their own career paths.”
