Easyjet predict further Newcastle growth
Easyjet has predicted it will carry 40,000 passengers between Newcastle and Faro after launching thrice-weekly flights to the Portuguese resort.
Services kicked off yesterday and brings the number of routes from Newcastle to 15.
Marketing manager Helen Dolce said further expansion is planned.
“Over the past two and a half years we have seen rapid growth and we are committed to further growth in the future,” she said.
