EasyJet sees 11% passenger rise in December

EasyJet carried more than 2.6 million passengers in December, up 11.2% on the same month in 2005.

The budget carrier saw its load factor rise to more than 81% during the month from 80.5% the year earlier.

For the year ending December, easyJet’s total revenue was up by more than 20% to £1,667 million from £1,381 million as its annual carryings rose by 11% to 33.6 million.
