EasyJet, Skyscanner extend strategic partnership
EasyJet and travel platform Skyscanner have signed a new long-term strategic partnership.
The new three-year deal continues their existing relationship, with Skyscanner’s 110m monthly users able to search and book easyJet flights to and from 35 countries.
Beyond distribution, the partnership includes advanced advertising, merchandising and data intelligence initiatives which will run across all Skyscanner’s platforms.
These include a range of brand and performance advertising formats, providing travellers with the choice of flight-only and packages via easyJet holidays.
Sheelagh Mahoney, Head of Distribution and Channels at easyJet, said: “This collaboration allows us to continue to meet the strong demand for easyJet’s flights and holidays as well as help us to reach new customers globally. “
“This long-term deal is much more than distribution, it is a strategic partnership that includes a wide array of advertising services and data products,” said Gavin Harris, Skyscanner Commercial Director.
Skyscanner is a strategic partner for several major travel brands, airlines and DMOs including Visit California.
