easyJet strengthens its year-end program from Bordeaux Airport
For the end-of-year holidays, easyJet announces an expansion of its offerings from Bordeaux-Mérignac international airport. The airline, which accounts for 36% of the platform’s market share, will offer 43 destinations this winter, including five new ones opening in 2025 (Budapest, Prague, Hurghada, Brussels, and Vienna).
The line to Vienna, which will start on November 27, will be extended until January 4, 2026.
Five routes also see their frequency increased:
– Milan-Malpensa: additional flight on Monday;
– Rome-Fiumicino: increases to a daily flight with the addition of a flight on Wednesday;
– Nice: additional flight on Saturday;
– Marseilles: additional flight on Friday;
– Lille: additional flight on Tuesday.
Moreover, three routes to the United Kingdom (Edinburgh, London-Luton, Manchester) will now be served on a yearly basis.
Meanwhile, in another development, low-cost airline Wizz Air will start flying to Bordeaux. The carrier will launch a route to Bucharest Otopeni each Wednesday and Sunday on October 26, followed to Rome Fiumicino each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from October 28. Wizz Air will also roll out a route to Venice each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from December 2, 2025.
