Eat hearty, maybe
Loews Hotels thinks families will have an appetite for its Healthy Kids program, now being offered at all 20 outlets in the US and Canada.
Highlights of the program include a “Quenchers Menu” of high nutrient, low-sugar drinks, healthy food items, and even scavenger hunts at select hotels.
Loews consulted with dieticians to develop low calorie but tasteful drinks, all with less than 200 calories.
A Loews Family Concierge is on hand at the chain’s hotels to suggest walking routes and other exercise activities.
The newest Loews is the 285-room Loews New Orleans Hotel, a conversion of an office building across the street from the city’s only casino.
