ebookers claims to have become the first major online travel agent website to offer a comprehensive cruise holiday range.
The online travel agent has launched a new site – http://cruises.ebookers.com – drawing on the expertise and cruise supply from North American cruise specialist, Viva Voyage.
The new site provides real-time pricing and availability across 23 cruise lines and 203 ships.
Sales transactions, as well as after-sales care both online or over the phone, is handled by Viva Voyage.
ebookers cruises claims the longest operating hours of any UK cruise agency as well as cruise experts available to help customers plan their trip from 09:00–02:00 Monday through Friday and from 10:00–23:00 Saturday and Sunday.
Managing director Ciaran Lally said: “The cruise market is changing and is predicted to grow by 12% annually over the next five years.
“So we are especially excited that ebookers has moved fast to become the first major travel website with a cruise offering.â€
Staff have been trained as product experts on all the cruise lines and have sailed on or visited most of the available ships.
