ebookers launches UK agent affiliate programme
Online travel company ebookers.com has launched its affiliate programme for agents in the UK.
The move means agents can get full access to its hotel, package, flight and car products and earn commissions from the re-sale of these products.
Following the UK launch, ‘ebookers for agents’ will be rolled out across ebookers’ other European websites during the remainder of 2010.
Travel agents can sign up for the programme on ebookers.com website (www.ebookersforagents.com) and on a dedicated telephone line.
Steven Rice, head of offline marketing for UK, France and Ireland, said: “There is no cost for agents to sign up to the programme. They receive free access to over 90,000 hotels, thousands of customised packages, flights from hundreds of airlines, and car rental hire from over 7,000 pick-up pointsâ€.
Standard commission rates include 10% for standalone hotel and 4% for package bookings.
The first 100 travel agents to sign up and book on the site by June 30 2010 will earn higher commissions on sales of hotel and holiday packages for a one-year period on all bookings.
