Ebookers leads the way among travel shares

There were mixed fortunes for travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s main equity indices registered small gains.

 

The FTSE 100 index added 20.3 points to end the day at 4438.3, while the FTSE 250 did even better, adding 50.1 points to close at 6033.7.

 

The biggest mover among travel shares was ebookers, which put on 11.75p to close at 277.25p.
